Rocco's Theorum

I would like to think that this picture is a textbook example of Rocco's Fourth Theorem:

When things are moving super fast, they appear to be moving not at all.

But I know better; the picture is actually an example of Common Sense Theorem #873109:

If you are going super slow and someone takes your picture, it's going to look like you're going super slow.

The careful observer will note that I am hatless, gloveless, and in shorts. This was the Frozen Half Marathon, part of the Twin Cities' Winter Carnival. Nothing like a 50 degree day to celebrate winter!

It was actually kind of sad. As part of the Winter Carnival they have ice sculptures and snow castles. The ice sculptures melted and we drove past the snow castles. They had all degenerated into three foot lumps of dirty snow. It was Frotsty the Snowman's worst nightmare.
